Mr & Mrs Jonathan Oparowski

Lindsay Anne Butler and Jonathan Richard Oparowski were married on February 24, 2007, at St Augustine Church in Coral Gables, Fla. Father Jude D’Angelo, from Wake Forest University, officiated. A reception followed at the home of Beth Butler, the mother of the bride, in Miami.

Jonathan is the son of Gail and Richard Oparowski of Newtown.

Lindsay was given into marriage by her father, Dale Butler, also of Miami. She wore an ivory beaded and embroidered silk satin organza strapless A-line gown for her wedding day, and carried a bouquet of white orchids and hydrangeas.

Maid of honor was Queena Chae of Memphis, Tenn. Bridesmaids were Beth Oparowski (sister of the groom), of Richmond, Va., along with Emily Hedgpeth, Lauren Roedersheimer, Sarah Ross, and Sara Salman. Danielle Frese was junior bridesmaid.

The ladies all wore matching tea-length sage green dresses with ivory sashes.

The best man was Blaike Hennessey of Ridgefield. Ushers were Corey Butler of Miami, brother of the bride, and Dan Cook, Kyle Kraner, Paul Mayer, and Chris Merlemans.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Palmer Trinity High School in Miami, and a 2005 graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. She is a marketing specialist at Prudential Carolinas Realty in Winston-Salem.

Jonathan is a 2001 graduate of Ridgefield High School, and also a 2005 graduate of Wake Forest University. He is a financial analyst at GMAC Insurance in Winston-Salem.

Following a honeymoon in St Lucia, the Oparowskis have returned to their home in Winston-Salem.
