*OLD SCHOOL will be at Proud Mary’s in Newtown next weekend, and after that the duo isn’t scheduled to return to the Main Street venue until November.

Lou Bellofatto and Tony Summo will be at the lounge at 19 Main Street on Friday, August 17, performing from 8 to 11.

Meanwhile, EMILY COLT has the stage this Friday night, and THOSE GUYS are scheduled to be there on Saturday night. Next Saturday night ALTERNATE UNIVERSE returns.

*This weekend’s COWBOY JUNKIES show at Infinity Music Hall in Norfolk is sold out.

The good news is, especially if you missed getting tickets, the show is being taped for the second season of the CPTV series “Infinity Hall Live.”

*Tickets will be on sale this week (Thursday, August 9) for a Thursday, September 27 show by ERIC JOHNSON at Infinity Music Hall up in Norfolk. Tickets are $30 and $45, and available through the hall’s website (www.InfinityHall.com) or by calling its box office,

Tickets for a September 23 show by SPURS USA ($25 and $35), also at Infinity Music Hall, will also be on sale Thursday morning through the same options, as will tickets for a November 24 MAX CREEK show ($35 and $50).

*THE DOUG WAHLBERG BAND will be at Captain’s Cove this weekend. The band is scheduled to perform at 1 Bostwick Avenue in Bridgeport on Saturday night starting around 9:30.
