and absentee bids.

A rare Eighteenth Century Dutch bracket clock with musical strike and full

calendar front attracted several bidders from out of state and surpassed its

high estimate, selling for $13,000. An Empress disk playing music box in

mahogany case sold at $3,250, while a Mills "Liberty Bell" five cent slot

machine went out at $1,250.

Top lot of the sale was a Steinway baby grand piano with original duo-art

mechanism, in original condition, which sold for $18,000.

A selection of Mission oak was led by a Gustav Stickley china cabinet which

sold for $8,500. A Gustav Stickley sideboard #814 brought $5,500, and an L&JG

Stickley 36 inch two door bookcase, in original condition went to a phone

bidder at $7,000. A grouping of pottery was topped by a nine inch Rookwood

vase, decorated by Elizabeth Lincoln, which sold for $2,400, and an Elizabeth

Keith woodblock print, which fetched $600.

A grouping of Victorian furniture was topped by a 60 inch oak dining table,

with griffin supports and eight original leaves, which climbed to a final bid

of $11,000. Another highly carved piece of oak furniture, a large hall tree

with lion supports under the arms and Northwind crest, sold at $5,500.

Paintings included a large Charles Rollo Peters, which brought $7,000.
