Edwin Guenzel

Edwin Guenzel, 71, former resident of Taunton Lake Drive, Newtown, passed away

June 27. He was the beloved husband of Marcella Johnson Guenzel of Port

Charlotte, Fla.

Mr Guenzel was born July 9, 1923, son of Albert and Anna Guenzel. He worked

many years for Eastern Bag & Paper Company of Connecticut, before retiring.

A veteran of WWII, he served in Europe.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Barbara Guenzel of

Port Charlotte, Fla., Christine Kairney of Danbury, and Deborah Lefebvre of

Ridgefield; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in Port Charlotte, Fla.
