EverWonder Planning Tenth Anniversary Celebratory Fundraisers
Ahead of its tenth anniversary as a children’s museum, EverWonder has announced a pair of special fundraisers being planned for September and November.
EverWonder began in 2011 as an outreach organization. In 2015 the museum opened the doors to its first location at 31 Pecks Lane, a big step toward bringing hands-on science and discovery to the community. In 2023, the museum moved to its new and expanded home at 11 Mile Hill Road, continuing the mission to inspire wonder every day.
Now the museum is inviting friends and supporters to help celebrate how far the museum has come, and support the next decade (and beyond) of exploration and learning.
10 Years, 10 Cheers: The Science of Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 6-10 pm, at the museum. The fundraiser for the museum’s 21+ supporters will offer an evening filled with live science demos and animal encounters, food and wine tastings, live musical entertainment, a live auction, and balloon pops.
Individual tickets, which include event entry, food, drinks, and access to all the fun, are $100; limited VIP tickets, which include an exclusive wine tasting beginning at 6 pm featuring rare, high-end red and white wines, are $150 each; and party tables, for six guests and including two bottles of wine, are $900 each.
Tickets are available now through everwondermuseum.org.
Ahead of that evening, an online silent auction will open September 6. Visitors to that page, which will go live through the museum’s website, will have the opportunity to bid online, preview items, and participate from home if they are unable to attend the live event.
Science Of Mini Golf
Later this season the museum will also offer a fundraising event for all ages.
The Science of Mini Golf is being planned for Saturday, November 15. While additional details are yet TBA, organizers have said each fundraiser will include an online auction.
Auction items for both events are still being accepted. Organizers would love to showcase as many local businesses as possible, and would be grateful for child-friendly donations or experiences to feature in the mini golf silent auction.
