On Tuesday, August 5, the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library sponsored a performance by Judy Pancoast. The free concert at Dickinson Park was also the finalé of the 2025 Tuesday Tunes Kids’ Concert Series.

The Grammy-nominated Pancoast has been performing for 25 years, and continues to get children of all ages on their feet at her shoes. The young attendees at her recent Newtown performance quickly responded to her invitations to dance and sing along during the 60-minute concert.

The annual series concluded last week after five successful shows. Steve Elci and Friends opened the season back on July 8. Weekly concerts continued, with Joy Blooms on July 15, BenAnna Band July 22, and Lynn Lewis and Friends July 29. Lewis’s concert was the one show that needed to move to The Hawley School — the indoor venue for the series — due to extreme heat that morning.
