Esther E.     Anderson

Esther E. Anderson, 80, died August 20, at Masonicare at Newtown. She was born July 9, 1932, to Mabel and Ernest Erickson.

Two sons, Carl Anderson of Newtown and Russell Anderson of New Milford; a daughter, Judy Miron of Waterbury; six grandchildren; and a sister, Ellen Stoughton of Myrtle Beach, S.C., survive Mrs Anderson. Her husband, James C. Anderson, predeceased her.

She served as the bookkeeper for her husband’s construction business for many years.

A service of Christian Burial was scheduled for Friday, August 24, at 1 pm, at the Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Avenue, Danbury, with a reception following at the Congregational Church of New Fairfield, the Reverend Doctor Patricia Nicholas officiating.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Congregational Church of New Fairfield, 20 Gillotti Road, New Fairfield CT 06812, or the Quality of Life Fund, Masonicare of Newtown, c/o The Masonic Charity Foundation, PO Box 70, Wallingford CT 06492.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Green Funeral Home in Danbury.
