Jessica Budnick and Joseph De Feo

Kathy and Mark Budnick of Sandy Hook are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Budnick, to Joseph De Feo, son of Monica and Joseph De Feo, former residents of Newtown who now reside in Scituate, Mass.

The future bride is a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut. She is the senior development assistant on the Corporate Partnerships team for The Jimmy Fund, the official charity of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Newtown High School and a 2008 graduate of Providence College. He received his MBA from Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business in 2010. He is a consultant for the Juran Institute, an international training and consulting firm headquartered in Southbury.

The couple reside in Boston. A July 2013 wedding in Woodstock, Vt., is being planned.
