A Day At Newtown’s Newest Pool

With the start of a new school year only days away and brief showers outside throughout the day on Wednesday, August 21, moms Michelle Meade and Anna Lawlor agreed they were “just spending a rainy day at the pool” with their sons — while also “in denial” that school is starting.
The group was “hanging onto summer” at the new Newtown Community Center pool, 8 Simpson Street, at Fairfield Hills.
