Maureen Joan Crick and Cramer Hill Owen, II, were married on July 1 at their home in Newtown by Justice of the Peace Deborah Stiewing.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs James W. Crick, Jr, of Newtown.
The groom is the son of Dr Freya W. Owen of Palo Alto, Calif., and Mr Cramer H. Owen, Sr, of Fresno, Calif.
The brideâs nephew, Matthew Crick, was honor attendant, and her niece, Emily Crick, was flower girl. The groomâs sons, Andrew Owen and Will Owen, were best men.
A cocktail reception followed the ceremony at the coupleâs home.
The bride graduated from Newtown High School and from Fairfield University with a paralegal certificate. She is a former paralegal for DaimlerChrysler Capital Services in Norwalk.
The groom graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and has a masterâs degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Ariz. He is managing director of the global marine and aviation finance groups at DaimlerChrysler Capital Services.
The couple and the groomâs children celebrated the marriage with a vacation in Cape Cod. The couple has planned a wedding trip to France in the fall.
