All-Star Fails On The Very First Day
All-Star Fails
On The Very First Day
To the Editor:
Today is my childâs first day at Reed. Because he is anxious I suggest we get to the bus stop extra early. Good thing we did. The new transportation service that the town hired, All-Star, pulled up early. We are the only ones there. I look behind us and one child is running down the hill in the rain to make the bus and another is still at home. Not sure how many others were missing, I tell the bus driver that she is early and she says, âNot according to my schedule. They are supposed to be here five minutes early.â I ask her to wait because I know my neighbor is coming and she shuts the door and leaves. As she drives away, my neighbor is coming down the hill.
I am sorry... this is unacceptable, especially on the first day of school. The children are anxious enough. Our owner-operators would have never treated us like that! They would have waited to be sure everyone was on board and safe. All-Star Transportation stinks! Is this what my tax dollars are paying for? They donât care about our children! Get our owner-operators back quick!
