To the Editor:

Wanted: a candidate who is Intelligent, honest, trustworthy, committed, cooperative, hard-working, and experienced. If you agree this sounds like an ideal candidate to help lead our town then I urge you to vote for Michelle Embree Ku for the Board of Selectmen.

Michelle has worked tirelessly for our town for the past 11 years. She has served on numerous boards and commissions and these experiences give her insight into the day-to-day operations of town government. Most recently she has served on the Legislative Council and the Charter Revision Commission.

As Chair and member of the Board of Ed for eight years, she helped the district to build the new Sandy Hook School, change school start time for teens, ensure funding for special ed and numerous other accomplishments. In addition to her local involvement Michelle has served on numerous state and regional boards, advisory teams and task forces.

I can think of no one who is more qualified for a leadership position than Michelle; she has both the integrity and experience to serve on the Board of Selectmen. This November, vote for Michelle Embree Ku.
