Gordon M. Clark

Active Westport Resident

Gordon M. Clark, 51, a lifetime Westport resident, died suddenly August 21.

Mr Clark is survived by his mother, Lois Marshall Clark of Newtown, formerly of Westport; his wife Connie; two daughters, Carolyn and Cristin; his twin sister, Carol Armstrong and her husband, Charles, of Palm City, Fla., and his three other siblings, Nancy V. Clark and Maurice Cease of Woodbridge, Charles H. Clark and his wife, Nancy, of Southport, and Douglas C. Clark and his wife, Linda, of Madison, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Gordon Clark.

He was a graduate of Staples High School and Southern Connecticut State University. He was an active community member and was very involved in the American Red Cross and the Westport Rotary Club.

A private family memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 23, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport. The Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, was entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the educational scholarship foundation for his children at The New Alliance Bank, 1071 Post Road East, Westport CT 06880, to the attention of Anita Cappiello. Checks are payable to Constance Clark, F/B/O: The Children’s Educational Funds.
