Registration Open For Adult Diploma Program

On Wednesday, September 6, from 6 to 8 pm, at Newtown High School registration will take place for the WERACE/ Newtown High School Diploma program. This program is operated under the auspices of Western Connecticut Regional Adult and Continuing Education. It serves the population of Newtown, Bethel, Danbury, Brookfield, Easton/ Redding, and Ridgefield.

This program enables anyone without a high school diploma to earn one. This can be accomplished through a combination of ways — taking classes, independent studies, credit for work and/or volunteering experience. At registration the number of credits needed will be determined as well as the best way to approach earning a high school diploma.
