“What is your favorite part of the Labor Day Parade?” Asked at Queen’s Street Plaza.

Eleanor Fetchick: “The people in the parade. And the neighbors that allow us to be on their lawns. They’re wonderful.”

Rosemary McDonald: “Being there as a family. We’ve been here 19 years and have attended most years. We usually sit near the Big Y to watch.”

Doris Hanley: “Oh, the candy. My kids love it. I know there’s not going to be any this year.”

Laureen Reed: “I like seeing everyone I know. But I’ve never really watched it. I’ve always been in it with Girl Scouts, NYS, and others.”

Derek Manes: “I haven’t been in years. We usually have get-togethers with family that weekend.”

Jane Droniak: “Seeing the town children in it. I see kids I haven’t seen in years marching with sports. We’ve been here 15 years and attend every year.”
