George And Eva May Frechette

Loving Parents, Adored Grandparents

George and Eva May (Soucy) Frechette of Beacon Falls, previously of Bridgeport, died recently. Mr Frechette died July 10, 2011, and Mrs Frechette died August 26. Mr Frechette, 82, was born in Portland, Maine, October 1, 1928, the son of Eulalie (Arsenault) and Valere Frechette. Mrs Frechette, 78, was born December 4, 1932 in Rumford, Maine, the daughter of Bessie (Collins) and Rudolph Soucy.

Four loving children, including, Karen Udiskey, and husband Ronald, of Sandy Hook; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive the Frechettes. Four siblings also survive Mr Frechette.

A longtime resident of Bridgeport, Mr Frechette was a retiree of AVCO-Lycoming and also served in the US Army during the Korean War. Both were longtime parishioners of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, and enjoyed being helpful and spending time with their family. They both enjoyed playing cards and Mrs Frechette enjoyed her soap operas.

Joint funeral services will take place Friday, September 2, at 6 pm, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 163 Ortega Street, Bridgeport. Burials will take place in Rumford, Maine, Saturday, September 17. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home 4798 Main Street Bridgeport is in charge of the arrangements.
