Graham Hubbert Named To Region I Pool

Newtown soccer player Graham Hubbert, 14, was one of two players from Connecticut born in 1997 to be chosen for the Region I Pool after attending a New Jersey-based Region I Boys’ Olympic Development Program Call Back Camp with players from Maine to Virginia this summer.

Graham attributes his selection to the strong foundation he received in the Newtown Soccer Club programs along with the elite training and high level of competition at Beachside and Connecticut Olympic Development Program.

Hubbert started playing club soccer for Newtown Samba. Before that he played recreational and travel soccer in Newtown. After his first year at Samba, he tried out for and was rostered for the Connecticut State Team
