NENME is a chamber music group made up of mostly Newtown musicians. This group performs original compositions along with arrangements of songs not normally associated with chamber music, from the Beatles to Frank Zappa, from Erik Satie to Sun Ra, from Duke Ellington to Mahavishnu Orchestra, Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Stravinsky, Looney Tunes, Merry Melodies, and more.

NENME features Gregg Baimel on clarinet and saxophones, Emily Boyer on horn, Phil Crevier on piano, Kristen Provost Switzer on cello and bass, Robert Rabinowitz on flute and saxophone, and Scott Switzer on bassoon and contrabassoon.

Danbury Trombone Outfit (DTO) is a trombone ensemble performing two to three concerts each year. Its repertoire has ranged from solo trombone to large Moravian choirs of over 14 trombonists, spanning the 15th Century to contemporary composers. They have performed on soprano, alto, tenor, bass, and contrabass trombones made by Bach, Conn, S.E. Shires, Getzen, Kanstul, Blessing, Jupiter, Yamaha, Greenhoe, Thein, King, Jin Bao, Edwards, and Selmer.

DTO members perform regularly with Danbury Symphony Orchestra, Danbury Community Orchestra, American Chamber Orchestra, The World Doctors Orchestra, The Riker’s Island Resident Wind Band, New Haven Chamber Orchestra, and various brass ensembles.
