A Sad Time Made More Bearable

To the Editor:

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all of our friends who gave us so much support and love during the illness and death of “our” Mom and brother-in-law, John Scholl. Both of these individuals will be greatly missed always.

Thanks to Reverend Steve and Reverend Janice and our entire church family who were always there for us. The Newtown Ambulance Association was so professional and caring when they were called to transport Mom to the hospital. The way they responded to our calls was just tremendous. To all in our great community who called, dropped in, sent cards, and just listened, thank you very much. You helped make this sad time in our lives more bearable.

To bring back an old phrase, Nicer in Newtown! How true that is.
