AAUW President’s Reception

TRUMBULL — The Bridgeport Area Branch of the American Association of University Women will have its annual President’s Reception on Tuesday, September 11, at 7:15 pm, at the Trumbull Library on Quality Street in Trumbull.

Presidents of the organization going back to 1936 have been invited. Members of the branch who attended the National Association of AAUW Convention in Austin, Texas, this past summer will keynote the evening with stories from the convention. The membership will be introduced to the topics for the programs at general meetings this year and will see displays set up by the groups within AAUW to describe their programs and give members a chance to sign up for the group activities. Guests are invited.

“The evening is a chance to recognize past presidents, renew friendships, meet new members, and get the year off to a rousing start,” said President Merrillyn Decker.
