Charter Offers Intern Program

Charter Communication CommuniTyVision 21 is accepting applications for its award-winning Community Access Internship Program. Internships are free and are open on a first-come, first-served basis, to residents in Charter Communications’ franchise area.

Interns will receive extensive training in all aspects of video production and can use the experience to produce their own community television program for airing on CommuniTyVision 21.

The internship offers opportunities to many different people. High school and college students can receive school credit. The program has also proved helpful to some people as an effective way to gain valuable experience if looking for a new career path. Franchise residents can become involved in their community and work with others who hold similar interests. All of the interns are encouraged to produce their own community based programs and receive a “Certificate of Completion” at the end of the session.

Deadline for applying is September 28.

People who reside in the following towns are eligible for the internship: Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Kent, Monroe, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Trumbull, Washington, Woodbury.
