Sharon Ciccone

Sharon Ciccone, 45, of Shelton, beloved daughter of Anthony and Sara (Valvona) Tarascio, Sr, of Florida, died September 1 in St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, following a long illness.

In addition to her parents, Ms Ciccone is survived by a brother, Anthony Tarascio, Jr, and his wife, Kathleen; and nieces, Kelly and Sara Tarascio, all of Newtown.

Born in Portchester, N.Y., on July 28, 1956, Ms Ciccone was a longtime resident of Portchester before moving to Trumbull, and then to Shelton two years ago. She worked as a tech support manager for the APL Group, Inc, and Eventra of Milford until the time of her illness.

Services took place September 5 from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111), Monroe. A funeral service was held in Christ Episcopal Church, 5170 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, with the Rev Judith Greene officiating. Interment was private.
