‘Morning For Me:’ A Special Morning For Busy Women To Breathe

Balance, rejuvenation, and relaxation in a beautiful setting for busy women to take a moment for themselves is the objective of a morning event to be held at McLaughlin Vineyard in Sandy Hook Saturday, September 12. It is being sponsored by SuzySaid.com, an online destination website.

This morning will focus on taking time to breathe. Participating in this year’s event will be local certified trainers with expertise in the area of women’s fitness, focusing on yoga, Pilates, and exercise for all fitness levels.

Pam Buchler, owner of Aquarian Caterers, will prepare organic boxed meals.

Other contributors include local women who are passionate about the area and who apply their knowledge to honoring women’s health while sharing pertinent information. All the businesses are local businesses centered around healthy habits.

“Having local women as contributors is a big part of the event,” explains Amy Schmidt,  SuzySaid.com community builder. “Our participants will appreciate being surrounded by women who live and work locally, sharing their local knowledge while relating it to women’s health. SuzySaid.com emphasizes the ‘hyperlocal’ markets and is a website designed to streamline their busy schedules.”

“Morning for Me” will begin with check-in at 7:30. Exercise will run from 8:30 to 9:45, and will be appropriate for all fitness levels. Brunch will follow.

There is no charge for this event itself, but there is a $10 charge for each boxed brunch, which will include a whole grain bagel served with a slice of summer tomato, herbed cream cheese, capers and Alaskan smoked salmon, with a side of fresh fruit compote with crunch house-made granola.

Registration is required and closes September 8. Visit SuzySaid.com website register and to order a boxed brunch, as well as for additional information. Ms Schmidt can also be contacted at 313-7600.
