At Apple Festival

SOUTH BRITAIN — There will be something for everyone at the Eighth Annual Apple Festival at South Britain Congregational Church, located one mile north of Exit 14 off I-84 (on Route 172).

This year’s festival takes place on Saturday, September 16, from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission and parking are free.

Highlights include local crafters and their works, white and golden elephant treasures, Children’s World, handmade items, costume jewelry, books, and the Olde Tyme Fiddlers and Square Dancers.

New this year for the early birds, a hot breakfast will be served from 9 to 11 am. Lunch is from 11 am to 2 pm, and apple pie slices, candied apples, and other delicious goodies will be available all day at the snack bar.
