Eco-Lifestyle Expert And Author Starre Vartan To Produce Eco-Fashion Show
RIDGEFIELD â On Wednesday, September 10, Ridgefield will welcome eco-lifestyle expert and author Starre Vartan to showcase lifestyle tips and tactics that are fun, fashionable and friendly to the environment.
Ms Vartan is the founder of eco-chick.com, a green lifestyle website and blog with a feminine flair. Her extensive knowledge of environmental issues, and insight and advice about how to adopt an environmental lifestyle, has made her a sought after expert who is frequently featured in major Internet, television and print media. Her leading edge commentary on green living has also earned her the coveted designation by Huffington Post as one of the Top 25 Green Girls (she is #9).
From 12:30 to 3 pm on Wednesday, Ms Vartan will be at Practically Green, a brand new eco-friendly lifestyle store located in downtown Ridgefield at 23 Catoonah Street. She will be signing copies of her new book, The Eco-Chick Guide to Life: How to Be Fabulously Green, and talking with shoppers about easy, affordable, practical ways they can support a sustainable future without skimping on style, comfort or aesthetic appeal.
Following the book signing, green rocks inn and Fairfield County Green Drinks will co-host an eco-fashion show emceed by Ms Vartan.
From 6 to 9 pm at green rocks inn at 415 Danbury Road (Route 35), Ms Vartan will introduce eco-fashions from the hottest sustainable clothing designers, and shed some light on how sourcing, production and distribution of clothing impacts the environment around the globe.

Cost for the green rocks inn/Fairfield County Green Drinks fashion show featuring Starre Vartan is $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and includes food and drink.
