The Autumn Escape Bike Trek Is Almost Here

EAST HARTFORD — Join the American Lung Association of New England in one of the area’s most scenic and established cycling events: the 24th annual Autumn Escape Bike Trek taking off in historic Plymouth, Mass., on Friday, September 12, and ending in Provincetown on Sunday, September 14.

There is only one week to go, so anyone hoping to participate must sign up now at www.lungne.org or call 800-LUNG-USA.

And, for the weekend-only rider, there is a two-day trek option for Saturday and Sunday.

The Autumn Escape Bike Trek is ideal for cyclists of all experience levels. Seasoned cyclists can challenge themselves, and novices will have a great introduction to bike treks. This is a family-friendly trek that gives your whole troupe the chance for a fun weekend together riding for a great cause.

Travel over 160 miles along the Massachusetts coast and contribute to the ongoing fight against lung disease. The American Lung Association will provide prizes, a lobster dinner, entertainment, and support along the way, as well as overnight accommodations, medical and technical support, food and beverages and more.

The funds raised by the American Lung Association of New England support programs, advocacy and education in the region. For more information on the Autumn Escape Bike Trek, other cycling events, and the American Lung Association, call 800-LUNG-USA or log on to www.lungne.org today.
