Blanche (Kwasniewski) Weldon, 97, of Newtown, formerly of New Fairfield, died September 2.

She was the wife of the late George I. Weldon, and mother  and mother-in-law of Walter and Diane Weldon and Robert and Pam Weldon.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue, Danbury, on Thursday, September 7, from 5 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 8, at 10:30 am, in St Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Road, New Fairfield. Interment will follow in St Francis Cemetery, New Milford.
