Bonnie Lynn Miller of Newtown, Conn. passed away on May 17, 2023 at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. Bonnie was born in Danbury, Conn. on September 29, 1945, the daughter of the late Richard and Jacqueline (Hill) Miller. Bonnie is survived by her brother Jeffrey Miller and his wife Beth (Casazza) Miller. She also leaves her niece, Gretchen (Miller) Beardmore, and her nephews, Nathan Miller and Ian Miller.

Bonnie attended schools in Danbury, and graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked as a high school math teacher for several years before pursuing a career as an electronics technician for Eaton Corp. Bonnie took an early-aged retirement so that she could have time to pursue her interests in books, genealogy, and history.

Bonnie spent many volunteer hours with the Newtown Historical Society, Friends of Bethel Library, Friends of Cyrenius H. Booth Library of Newtown, Book Menders, and Genealogy Club of Newtown. Her brilliant mind and commitment to problem-solving to perfection were hallmarks of her strong and independent life. Bonnie will be remembered by all for her humble kindness and generosity.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service to honor Bonnie at St James Episcopal Church, 25 West St, Danbury, Conn. on September 14th at 11 am.
