MEET THE ARTISTS AND ARTISANS SHOW WILL BE SEPT. 20â21 IN MILFORD

MILFORD, CONN. â The Meet the Artists and Artisans 46th annual fall show on the Milford Green will take place September 20 and 21, rain or shine.
From Milford, Al Leiper offers paintings of local landscapes, seascapes, churches and historic landmarks, while author of The Last Penguin, Greg Stones, will bring miniature watercolor paintings.
Hailing from across the country, featured artists include Bob Parker presenting his life-size bronze wildlife sculptures; Steve Brewster, glass sculptures; Sonny Cardinalli with welded iron and kinetic sculptures and Jim Berran with satirical artworks.
Michael McCarthy will demonstrate shore bird carving, and Ken Lindgren, turned wood sculpture and vessels.
The event will also feature juried handcrafted wooden furniture, pottery, stoneware, birdhouses and arbors, silk and linen apparel, hand blown glass, tapestry, pastels and oils, photography, sculptures and jewelry.
