Helena M. Chamiec, 50, of New Haven, died September 5. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of George G. and Anna Korzystka Chamiec.
Survivors include her beloved daughters, Anna Chamiec of Sandy Hook and Anastasia Chamiec of Norwich; three sisters, Mary Chamiec-Case and husband, Rick, of Sandy Hook, Teresa Chamiec and husband, Bob Giannini, of California, and Barbara Chamiec Mudry and husband, Ludwik, of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.
She moved to New Haven five years ago after having lived in Trumbull for many years. A former office administrator for Skandia of Shelton, she was a lover of art, having painted many portraits and pictures.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life, Friday, at 4 pm, in Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street, Newtown, with the Rev Pastor Kathie Adams-Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:30 pm until the time of services.
The Commerce Hill-Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line) is in charge of arrangements.
