To the Editor:

Thank you, Newtown! Thank you for all the donations during the Labor Day Parade!

Your food donations filled the backs of two pickup trucks. Those items are already on our shelves, and are making a difference in our community. Your generous cash donations will help us purchase the items we need to buy on a weekly basis: meat, milk, butter, eggs, etc.

To the members of the Newtown Labor Day Parade Committee — thank you for another fantastic parade!!

Thank you to the many FAITH volunteers that helped us on parade day. Your ongoing dedication is why FAITH is able to do what we do!

A huge thank you goes to Andrew Piccuillo, Jameson Piccuillo, Dhilan Amin, Joseph Soriano, Fiona MacKessy, and Todd Piccuillo, for helping us collect donations along the parade route. We could not have done this without you.

Andy Engels and Hank Krell — thank you for donating and driving your trucks and for helping us unload all the food at the end of the parade!

And lastly, to The Newtown Bee, and to the Smith and Baggett families, we at FAITH cannot thank you enough for your continuing support. You make such a difference in the community that we are all proud to be a part of.
