From rides on horseback to games and demonstrations, the Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard’s open house, at Fairfield Hills, offered something for all ages on September 10. The event included an interactive history display, artifacts that date back to the early 1800s, face painting, music, food, and more.

The Horse Guard is seeking new members for the next recruit class. If you would like to join, or know someone who would be interested, please e-mail 2ghg.ctmd@ct.gov.
