RV One, located at 201 South Main Street, is rebranding itself to be part of its parent company’s brand, Blue Compass RV.

RV One opened last summer to much fanfare, built on a long dormant 22.7-acre industrial lot that was originally purchased and developed by Country Camper, a Vermont-based, family-owned RV dealership. Country Camper partnered with Newtown-based Claris Construction LLC to begin building a state-of-the-art facility on the South Main Street parcel in early July 2021.

Since its founding nearly five years ago, Blue Compass RV has grown to over 100 RV dealerships in over 30 states across America. Following the company’s recent rebrand, all 100+ dealerships will be included seamlessly under the Blue Compass RV umbrella, and each store location will receive both an interior and exterior upgrade to boast the new name and logo of Blue Compass RV.

The Connecticut area location unveiled the new name and logo of Blue Compass RV at a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand re-opening event on September 11.

Jon Ferrando, chief executive officer and president of Blue Compass RV, said the rebrand was “exciting,” and the company was one of the largest RV sellers “in the industry.”

Ferrando said that the company was “built around great customer experience” as exemplified in their new “RV Complete” program, which provides 24/7/365 support and roadside assistance to their customers, through a mobile app.
