Longtime Sandy Hook Resident

Kathryn I. Dupuis, 71, of Sandy Hook, died September 18 in Ashlar of Newtown. Mrs Dupuis was the wife of the late Robert A. Dupuis. She was born in Elmira, N.Y., on September 10, 1935, a daughter of Joseph and Cecile (Van Demark) Husar.

A longtime resident of Sandy Hook, Mrs Dupuis was a graduate of Newtown High School and attended Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing.

Mrs Dupuis is survived by her children, Robert J. Dupuis and David Dupuis, both of Sandy Hook, Kathleen Dupuis of Middlebury, and Donald Dupuis and his wife, Sherry, of Seymour. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shawn, Brian, and Brittany Dupuis.

A graveside service was held September 20 in St Rose Cemetery, Sandy Hook.

Arrangements were by Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
