Denise Evans, 73, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Born on October 1, 1952, in Queens, New York, Denise was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and extraordinary friend to so many. She was the beloved wife and soulmate of Cliff Evans, with whom she shared a beautiful life and an enduring love. She was the dedicated mother of Conor, Daniel, and Megan, and welcomed their spouses, Rosa, Julie, and Christopher, into her heart as her own.

Denise was endlessly proud of her six grandchildren — Atticus, Wesley, Brighley, Madi, Emmi, and Asher. They were a source of pure joy and love in her life, and she treasured every moment she shared with them. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and the center of her world.

Denise was a graduate of Columbia University, where she earned her master’s degree in Speech Pathology. She dedicated her career to helping children, spending 30 years at Head O’ Meadow in Newtown. Through her work, Denise touched countless young lives with her compassion, patience, dedication, and unwavering belief in every child’s potential.

But those who knew Denise best will remember her not only for the lives she touched through her career, but also for the love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She was a loving partner to her husband, a strong and nurturing mother, an adoring grandmother, and a fiercely loyal friend. Denise had a remarkable ability to make people feel loved, supported, and cared for. She gave of herself wholeheartedly, and her presence left an everlasting imprint on the lives of so many.

Her love was constant, her heart was generous, and her strength was unwavering. She created a lifetime of memories that will be carried in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Though her absence leaves an unimaginable emptiness, the love she gave and the lives she touched will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Denise will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered by her family, friends, former colleagues, and all those who had the privilege and honor of knowing her.
