In honor of St Francis of Assisi, Trinity Episcopal Church will host a public Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 11, at noon.

All are invited to gather at 36 Main Street, near the gazebo to the east of the church building. There will be a brief service of prayer and song, after which the animals will be blessed.

Adults and children of all ages are welcome.

All animals should be on leashes or in carriers. For pets that are shy or not easily transported, guests can bring a photo or favorite toy in their place.

Volunteers will also be collecting donations of pet food for FAITH Food Pantry during the event.

Reservations are not needed. Additional information is available by contacting Kim Merrill at 203-426-9070 or kmerrill@trinitynewtownct.org.
