To the Editor:

My name is Steve Goodridge and I am running for reelection to the Board of Finance.

I have lived in Newtown for 50 years, grew up and went through the Newtown school system. With my wife of 38 years, Sue. We raised our two sons Brendon and Ryan who also went through the Newtown school system.

I’ve been a member on Board of Finance for the last two years. I have been selected to the following committees: Teachers Contract Negotiations, BOE CFF/CIP, Recycling Committee and BOE Administrators Contract Negotiations.

Serving the Town of Newtown has been a privilege and I will continue to do what’s best for the town.

I look forward to continuing my work on BOF. I will use my experience from the last two years to keep the town growing in a fiscally responsible way.
