To the Editor:

I am writing to express my support for Michelle McCabe in her bid for CT State Senator in the 28th District.

Michelle McCabe has a proven track record of employing “out of the box” thinking to develop creative solutions to help transform the communities in which she works. From her advocacy for healthier food choices in schools to her current role at the Center for Food Equity and Economic Development (FEED) working with food pantries and community meal programs, Michelle McCabe possesses the kind of experience, initiative, and creativity that will serve all residents well in her district.

Michelle McCabe’s commitment to rebuilding our economy through investment in areas such as students, tech, and infrastructure, while striving to reduce the tax burden of property taxes on residents and businesses is a winning combination. I have faith that Michelle McCabe will go to Hartford and fight, head-on, for what is in the best interest of her constituents.

I trust Michelle McCabe to work hard for businesses and families in Newtown and I hope you will, too. Whether you vote in person or via absentee ballot, vote for Michelle McCabe on November 3.
