Warrant

After learning that police held a warrant for her arrest, Deborah Muckerman, 38, of New Milford went to the police station on the morning of September 29 and was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, police said.

The arrest stems from an April 10 incident at the Big Y supermarket at Newtown Shopping Village at 6 Queen Street in which Muckerman entered the supermarket, disregarding a previous warning to her not enter the building that had been issued by the store’s management, police said.

Police released Muckerman on a written promise to appear October 12 in Danbury Superior Court.

Suspended License

Police said they were dispatched to 151 South Main Street about 8:23 pm September 29 to investigate a report of an erratic driver.

After investigating, police charged motorist Cassandra Jacobsen, 27, of 138 Underhill Road with driving with a suspended license.

Police released her on a written promise to appear in court on October 13.

Tunnel Road

About 6:22 pm September 27, motorist Claudia Sandoval, 32, of 10 Johnson Drive was driving a 2004 GMC SUV southward on Tunnel Road, police said.

At that time, motorist Sean Leja, 24, of 13 Tunnel Road, who was driving a 1999 Ford sedan, was attempting to exit a driveway at that address to enter Tunnel Road, police said.

The two vehicles collided. There were no injuries. Police said they issued Leja an infraction for failure to grant the right of way.
