Leadership?

To the Editor:

Just when you thought a new low level of personal attack could not be set by the leadership of the IPN, they exceed our expectations.

The latest is enlisting spouses to pen negative attack letters. The missile by Holly Walczak [Letter Hive, “Banning Dogs at Fairfield Hills?,” 9/25/909] wife of the IPN candidate for first selectman on the subject of roaming dogs on town property can be lauded for its consistency with the message of the IPN: distort and/or ignore facts and attack individuals, not issues.

The behavior of the leader of the IPN is to invariably default to worst possible accusations of misconduct and deliberate abuse of powers to any decision or position he opposes.

Is this the quality of leadership the citizens of Newtown need and deserve?
