Youth Cross Country Team Competes in Trumbull

Newtown’s youth cross country team competed in the Trumbull Invitational this past weekend. Anna Northrup won the middle school girls’ race. Other top Newtown finishers were as follows: 19. Molly Begg, 21. Hannah Schmidt, 22. Eliza Eggelston, 23. Janny Indelicato 23 and 25. Hannah Bartlett.

The boys were lead by the seventh-place finish of Nathan Kalra. Other top Newtown runners were: 12. Vanya Donaher, 16. Steve Anderau, 18. Wesley Morlock, 20. Joey Whelan, 21. Sam Coffey, 25. Sean Kemsley, 29. Kris Whelan, 33. Jacob Steinebrey and 37. Don Sun.
