Birthday Book Club Kicks Off

Nearly 20 Sandy Hook Elementary School students gathered recently for a very special birthday celebration.

Library Media Specialist Bev Bjorklund, in conjunction with the Sandy Hook School PTA, kicked off the Birthday Book Club. Students select a book they want donated for their respective birthdays. After titles are mailed home for parental approval, the books, adorned with the students’ names and birthdays, are placed on Sandy Hook School’s library shelves on their special day.

 Anyone interested in joining the Birthday Book Club (it is never too lat!) should visit Ms Bjorklund at the Sandy Hook School Library.
