Explorer Post At Botsford Firehouse

Explorer Post 551 has recently been established at the United Fire Company of Botsford. The Explorer program is a Boy Scouts Of America affiliated program designed to provide an exciting and educational experience for youths ages 14–21 interested in the field of firefighting. Through this program, members will learn skills that will aid them in firefighting and real world experiences that they will encounter. The Explorer program is youth-oriented and adult-supervised, making it fun and exciting in a safe environment. The new officers of Post 551 are Tim Bombero, treasurer; Emily Nezvesky, president; Vinny Bodetti, vice president; Saran Stratford, exploring executive; and Casey Ciaccia, secretary (not pictured).
