How To Prevent Identity Theft

WATERBURY –– Skilled identity thieves use a variety of methods, both low- and high-tech, to gain access to social security numbers, bank and credit card account numbers, and other information that enables them to steal a person’s identity.

Waterbury Hospital’s Evergreen Club 50 and the Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging is planning to hold a practical program of tips and techniques to help people keep their identities safe. “When Bad Things Happen to Your Good Name” will be presented from 1 to 3 pm Tuesday, October 7, in the hospital’s Bizzozero Conference Room, Fourth Floor, Main Building. Space is limited.
