Lake Drawdowns Announced

Weather and operational conditions permitting, the dates for this season’s drawdowns on Lake Lillinonah and Lake Zoar have been planned.

The water level in Lake Lillinonah will be lowered approximately 5.5 feet to election 190.0 feet beginning Saturday, October 20, so residents can work on their waterfront property. The water level will begin to return to normal on Sunday, October 28.

Also, weather permitting, there will be a drawdown of Lake Zoar from Saturday, October 27, to Sunday, November 4. The water level will be lowered approximately 3.0 feet to elevation 97.5 feet so residents can work on their waterfront property.
