Patricia L. Hoffkins, 90, of New Milford died October 2 at Candlewood Valley Health Care Center. She was born March 17, 1926, in Greenwich, and was the daughter of the late Mary (Flaherty) and James Linnin. She graduated from Greenwich High School, then married Gerald W. Hoffkins.

She was predeceased by Gerald in November 2003. Her sons and their wives, Stephen and Kim Hoffkins of Newtown, Gerald Jr and Marianne Hoffkins of Rush, N.Y., and Kevin and Cindy Hoffkins Fairfield; her daughter Patricia Hoffkins of New Milford; and her grandchildren John, Robert, Mark, Sarah, and Katie survive her.

Mrs Hoffkins worked as a secretary for Kliklok in Greenwich for over ten years before retiring in 1986. In 1999, she and Gerald moved to New Milford. She was a member of the New Milford Seniors, the Glenville Seniors, and the Candlewood Lions Club.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8, at St Francis Xavier Church in New Milford at 10 am. Interment will follow at St Francis Cemetery in New Milford. Calling hours will be held at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, on Friday, October 7, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
