Newtown Agency Earns

Two Design Awards

Goodwick/Liazon’s Leverage Marketing Group, a leading Newtown-based marketing communications and promotions firm integrating business-to-business and consumer disciplines, was just awarded two 2006 American Graphic Design Awards. The winning entries included a Print Advertising campaign for GE Security, and the company’s website.

This is now the ninth time the Connecticut agency has been recognized by Graphic Design:usa for continued “Excellence in Communication and Graphic Design.”

“Of our three submissions, two were judged winners,” said agency principal David Goodwick. “It is always an honor to be recognized by our industry peers. But this program is even more satisfying because we were able to reinforce the sales proposition of GE Security, the leader in their industry. We thank them for the opportunity to do so.”

The advertising program for GE Infrastructure, Security positioned, packaged, and promoted GE’s flagship VisioWave® Intelligent Video Surveillance Platform.

The agency also won an award for its new website, www.leverage-marketing.com, which was recently relaunched.

The awards competition, sponsored by the international commercial graphic arts publication Graphic Design:usa, is one of the most prestigious and well known in the industry. The agency was one of 10,000 entrants and among fewer than 700 winning Ad and MarCom design groups, according to awards director Laura K. Roth.
