‘The Masked Ball’ To Be Shown

SOUTHBURY — Southbury Senior Center’s Afternoon at the Opera series will feature a showing of Verdi’s The Masked Ball at 1 pm, on Wednesday, October 11, at Pomperaug Woods. The version to be shown is a Metropolitan Opera production taped during a performance in 1980 that stars Luciano Pavarotti at the height of his vocal powers.
