Beloved Mother And Grandmother

Irene Marie (Kilmartin) Worth, 93, a resident of Bennington, Vt., and previously of Newtown, died August 30, at the Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center. She was born in Stamford, August 21, 1918, the daughter of Mary Veronica (Fitzgerald) and Michael Kilmartin.

Mrs Worth  is survived by her children, Maureen Worth Hamilton of Raleigh, N.C., and Louise Worth Hakey, and her husband Mark, of Fairfax Vt.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie W. Worth, in 1992.

She was retired from Ivan Sorvall/DuPont in Newtown.

Interment was September 6, in the family plot in St John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Darien.
