The Newtown High School boys soccer program is hosting its 6th Annual SoccerFest at Blue & Gold Stadium on Friday, October 15. The celebration will take place before and during the Nighthawksâ varsity game against New Fairfield. Festivities begin at 6 pm.

As always, SoccerFest offers families a fun night out, featuring games, giveaways, kid-friendly raffles, great food, and a silent auction. A special raffle prize will be offered this year: A chance to win a soccer ball autographed by former NHS forward, and All-American and professional soccer player Marcus Tracy.

A vote for Michelle Embree Ku will only strengthen Lamont's majority party and encourage more stealth tax packages in the CT legislature and energy policies. Lamont also elected to shutter the trash-to-energy plant in Hartford creating a twofer: trash crisis and energy crisis. Your opponent and his supporters are quick to blame the other side of the aisle and have given up on trying to accomplish anything.
